If you have a digital camera, chances are you also have a chockfull of digital photos. If you don’t do anything about them, they will just take up a lot of your storage space. If you’re not a professional photographer, it is best that you either delete some of your pictures or get creative with them.

Digital photos will surely flood your entire computer space and may cause some applications to slow down. It is therefore recommended to purchase a separate external hard disk to store all of your unforgettable memories. This way, you can properly label and arrange them according to date, event or name. You can also create photo mosaics and digital photo scrapbooks to send to friends as gifts or to just use as your own wallpaper.

Pictures are meant to be flaunted. If you often have guests over at your house, it would be really nice to show off your picture in photo albums or in hanged picture frames. You can always print your own digital photos at the privacy of your own home using a personal photo printer. You just need a bunch of photo paper and you’re done! This is inexpensive compared to having them printed in a photo lab.

You often get your daily dose of ice cream from your neighbourhood sweetshop or cafe. You always look forward to attending parties and picnics that involved cakes and ice cream as dessert. You dream of ice cream. You love ice cream. Admit it. You are addicted.

If you are into this very delicious concoction, why not make ice cream at home? Homemade ice creams are so easy to make. You just need a few ingredients, an ice cream maker and a lot of patience. You don’t want to eat your ice cream while it’s still freezing, don’t you?

For first timers, you might want to start with a simple yet mouth watering flavour. Vanilla ice cream would be perfect. With homemade ice cream, you are sure that the ingredients are yummy and natural. You also control the amount of the ingredients you want to put in. You can either lessen the creaminess (if you’re in a diet) or add an additional ingredient if you want. As you get the hang of creating your own delicious masterpieces, you can try other flavours and maybe top them off with assorted toppings like cherries, marshmallows, peanuts, and crushed Oreos.

You can even show off your ice cream making ability to your friends whenever they come over. Serve it in a beautiful dish, sugar cone or your own freshly made waffle. This will surely impress your friends.

Aside from branded clothes, I am crazy about wristwatches. I have a growing collection that consists of gold, silver, titanium, leather, plastic and rubber watches.

I love big round faced watches with multiple mini circles for seconds, days and months. Aside from round faces, I also collect rectangle, oval and square shaped face. My watch collection is quite colourful. There are numerous bright colors like pink, reds and yellows. I also have neutral shades too.

I would say I coordinate my watches with all of the clothes and shoes but I do have a few contrasting ones that I wear when I am in a bold mood. When I am wearing a dressy outfit and going out with friends for a formal and quiet dinner, I usually wear a gold or leather watch with a small face. When I am out clubbing, I tend to wear a more sturdier and scratch-proof titanium or silver watch so that I don’t have to worry about bumping into the crowded bar or tables.

I don’t just collect expensive watches but also cheap but cute cartoon themed watches. I am currently addicted to Harajuku themed watches because they are fun and unique and very colourful.

What time is it? I’d say it’s time to buy a new watch to add to my collection!

Nowadays, it’s quite hard to plan your best family vacations, prices have gone up but yet your income has stayed the same. You don’t want to disappoint your family by cancelling your annual family vacation. It’s practically tradition, right?

With family vacations, it is best to offer variety so that your kids won’t grow bored with doing the same thing every year. If money is not an option for you, you can spend a week in an exotic beach location in another country. Not only will this be a learning experience because you would be encountering a foreign language, new culture and different people, it would be so much fun for activities in some countries are so outrageous that you can’t help but join.

If you don’t want to travel far or spend that much money, you can ask a friend or relative who has a vacation house or a timeshare somewhere to let them rent it to you for a couple of days. If you are pretty close, maybe they won’t charge you at all.

In my opinion, best family vacations are the priceless times spent bonding with your whole family. It is not about how much or little money you spent or how far you’ve travelled but best family vacations are seeing your family enjoy and have fun with you even in just a few days.

…what do you usually do when you’re at home?

I love the pitter-patter of the rain on my windows and roof. I love the smell of the ground freshly sprinkled with rain. And if I can, I would get myself wet in the rain.

Each time the rains come and I’m at home, I usually cuddle with my pillow and hide under my bed covers. It thrills me to no end that I am warm and toasty while nature is doing otherwise. I often catch up on my reading and browse my book collection until I think of something better to do.

Rainy days are meant for staying in and having a hot cup of cocoa with my feet tucked under and watching old TV reruns. When I feel like it or when I have company, I have lots of buttered popcorn and root beer while watching horror movies on full blast speakers and screaming my head off.

Other rainy days, I would just sit down and write. With a pen and paper in hand, I would write different stories, poems or just about random things and would only stop when my hands start to ache. Sometimes, I would keep the good ones while the others end up in the trash.

Mirrors have always been pretty useful since the olden days that even the evil stepmother of Snow White has one. Mirrors are often used to check one’s appearance or just for decoration. Mirrors also used by decorators in small or narrow spaces because it reflects light. This causes the impression that the room is larger than it really is. Also when mirrors are hanged on walls, it makes an illusion of a window, adding a sense of depth to a room. That is why it is a good decorating idea to put large mirrors in a windowless area.

Mirrors come in all sizes, shapes and designs. There are handheld, wall and lighted mirrors. Usually used in decorating are the wall mirrors. The simpler, frameless ones are usually cheaper than framed and etched mirrors. Etched wall mirrors have artwork imprinted on the glass, usually in forms of animals, landscape or geometric art. This could be done through hand, laser, or acid etching.

Framed mirrors, aside from the common wooden ones, are pretty and very elaborate. The materials used for the frames can be cloth such as cowhide or silk, mother of pearl, gemstones such are turquoise and others.

Mirrors are often seen at various rooms, bathrooms and the living room. They are usually put up on walls or prop up in tables.
